Eager for the new year to start, some Concordia students and their parents paid a morning visit to the campus to test out the new facilities. With the first day of school less than a month away, the students were able to explore their new classrooms and have a little fun.
“My daughter Celeste and I went to check out her new “big school”, Concordia International School Hanoi. Now that the facility is complete, we decided to go check it out to ease her transition to the new school.
My husband and I are so thrilled to have quality teachers working with our daughter as she begins reading and writing soon. Having attended one local “International” preschool for the past three years, I could tell the difference right away in the quality and experience of the teachers. Choosing a school with the best teachers is more important now since she is developing a foundation for learning-- and not just playing.
There is also a big difference in the quality of the supplies and materials. Three weeks away from the first day and already the rooms are all set up, filled with art supplies, books and new toys. Celeste was really excited about all of the dress-up clothes and games, and the fact that there is a separate room from the classroom, just for play!
In fact, not only are there several classrooms for the preschool children, but an art, music, and multi-purpose room in the facility as well. I am confident Celeste will never get bored at school with all of the choices available to enhance learning, lest I forget her favorite part... the large roof-top playground!”
Thank you to Concordia Mom, Aimee Cima (pictured above right with daughter, Celeste, Concordia Pre-K), for sharing her experience with us. Top pic: students test out the outdoor playground that Celeste loves so much.
